Relax in vintage rail-cars aboard this famous narrow-gauge train, in operation since 1898. Enjoy scenery including historic and natural wonders such as Gold Rush Cemetery, Pitchfork Falls, Black Cross Rock and infamous Dead Horse Gulch. Experience the beauty of the Canadian wilds at White Pass summit before disembarking at Bernard Lake. Your next adventure begins with instruction in the use of stable, state-of-the-art, two-person kayaks. Paddle across the cold, pristinewaters that Klondikers plied over 100 years ago to reach the gold fields of the Yukon. Snow-capped mountains rise in all directions.

Your naturalist-guide thrills you with stories of the gold rush and points out wildlife along the way. Watch for bear, mountain goat, caribou and eagles amid the alpine terrain of glacier-carved Tormented Valley. Enjoy a light snack and board your motorcoach for the return to Skagway. Your driver provides vivid narration of the history and scenery along the route down the Klondike Highway.

SPECIAL NOTES
Since this tour enters Canada, U.S. and Canadian citizens must carry a passport or birth certificate with photo ID. Guests of other nationalities must bring their passport. Notarized written consent is required for children traveling into Canada without both parents. Participants must be in moderate physical condition and those over 6’4”or over 285 lbs. and waist size exceeding 44” may not fit comfortably in kayaks. Dress warmly in layers. Tour order may vary. Tour begins June 5.
