for the dramatic journey down the Klondike Highway. Stops are made along the way for pictures at scenic vistas and historical locations.

Meet a cast of costumed characters for fun and a chance to find your fortune at the Klondike Gold Dredge. Learn the art of gold panning and practice your technique in warm-water troughs. Gold is guaranteed in every pan! Haul your treasure into Gerties' Gold Shack, have it weighed and, if you choose, transferred into a souvenir bezel. Browse one of the finest collections of gold nugget jewelry in Alaska and discover unique, mining-related souvenirs in the gift shop while being entertained by the colorful characters that are part of this unforgettable experience.  

Finally, enjoy a gourmet lunch at the Historic Skagway Inn, home to many “ladies of the night” during the Klondike Gold Rush. In the intimate Olivia's Restaurant, feast on a variety of delicacies such as a nasturtium dainty, halibut chowder, smoked salmon pasta, chicken pot pie and rhubarb crisp. After lunch, stroll through the inn's colorful garden that thrives in the long days of summer.

Since this tour enters Canada, U.S. and Canadian citizens must carry a passport or birth certificate with photo ID. Guests of other nationalities must bring their passport. Notarized written consent is required for children traveling into Canada without both parents. Vegetarian lunch available. Please notify Tour Office onboard at least 24 hours prior to tour.
